The four-story Odisha State Museum also houses a collection of Buddhist and Jain sculptures, archeological finds, coins, copper plates, stone inscriptions from ancient and medieval Kalinga, armors, bronze age tools, ancient and medieval tools and weapons, enormous traditional dresses, stuffed animals, natural history, geological objects, paintings, anthropological specimens, traditional folk and musical instruments, and a collection of traditional folk and musical instruments. The Orisha State Museum also has a library with a large book collection. It is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day.
