Chilika Lake is spread over Odisha’s Puri, Khordha<\/a>, and Ganjam districts. This natural beauty is Asia’s largest brackish water lake, spread over more than 1,100 square kilometers. It is so peaceful yet lively. Both banks face blue lagoons on one side and green hills on the other. During the winter seasons, many tourists flock here for both rides. The Maa Kalijai temple is established on a small island in Chilika Lake. Chilika is thus the favored dolphin-watching destination, with a stunning lake view and a lush green backdrop.<\/p>\n

There are many small and large hotels, resorts, eco camps, and dhabas around Chilika Lake. The OTDC Water Sports Complex is about 2 km away. Still, Chikila Lake is also regarded as one of the best spots for picnics in Khordha District, Odisha.<\/p>\n
