Barabakhara Cave & Waterfall is located in Ambavhana, within the range of Barapahad hills, about 47 km from Bargarh town. Very prominently, these waterfalls are surrounded by hills and forests. It was somewhere hidden in the caves of Barabakhra, built by Veer Surendra Sai. The Barabakhara cave is associated with the history of Veer Surendra Sai himself.
The water of the Barabakhara waterfall flows down the hills and goes through two waterfalls. The natural beauty and charming sound of the falls attract a lot of visitors, especially in winter. Nature lovers will find a treasure trove of beauty at this site: an exquisite waterfall that pours sparkling clean cool waters down for fabulous bathing. Not for nothing is Bara Bakhra Falls & Caves regarded as Bargarh, Odisha’s top attraction.
