Towering to about 200 feet, this waterfall forms a superb natural dip pool and is clear all year round, being one of the least polluted tourist destinations in the Indian state of Odisha.

Bhimkund Waterfall is located along the river banks of the Baitarani within Mayurbhanj District, nearly 125 kilometers from Baripada town and 40 kilometers from Karanjia. Two streams of water, Sana Kunda and Bada Kunda, are related to mythology. It is located on the border between Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj districts.

Besides, there is a Kundeswar Mahadev Temple and a giant statue of Mahabali Bhim near Bhimkund Waterfall. This Bhimkund has a tall watchtower near the waterfall from which one can enjoy the beautiful view of the entire Bhimkund of Mayurbhanj Side. From two sides, Bhimkund Waterfall is visible; one side is Mayurbhanj, while the other one is Kendujhar which is about 60 kilometers from Keonjhar town. Vehicles required an entry fee of 30 and a small fee of 10 per person is charged for entry into Watchtower.
