The Famous Chausathi Yogini Temple is situated at Hirapur. The Yogini temple has about 56 black granite idols inscribed within the wall cavities. It is 18 km from Bhubaneswar and 44 km from Khordha. The main idol is the Goddess Kali, who stands on a human head and represents the triumph of the heart over the mind.

It is the Center of Tantric ordered for the worship of 64 yoginis carved out of black chlorite stone. 64 Yogini Mandir is one of the famous temples in Khordha District. This temple is believed to have been erected by Queen Hiradevi of the Bramha dynasty during the 9th century. The temple is circular, an assembly of sandstone blocks.

The inner circular wall exhibits several niches, each of which traditionally contained the statue of a Goddess. The temple has a central altar (Chandi Mandapa), with the remaining 8 Goddess idols on all 4 sides. According to some historians, the idol of Maha Bhairava was worshipped in the Chandi Mandapa.
