Odisha Tourism and the Odissi Research Centre collaborated to organize the Konark Dance Festival in 1989. The primary goal of organizing this festival is to promote tourism in Odisha by raising awareness of the state’s great art, culture, and dance, as well as to increase visitors to the Konark Sun Temple.
