This tourist spot is located near Bhubaneswar in which the state government has introduced flexibility programs for exploring the sanctuary in the Bharatpur area. A forest jungle safari enables spectators to observe various species of birds, peacocks, deer, jackals, foxes, wild cats, elephants, hummingbirds, deer, wild fowl, and snakes.
The Jungle Safari itself was inaugurated in 2019 by the State Forest and Environment Department to give people a taste of the natural environment in Bharatpur Sanctuary. For this safari, a gate has been erected on the Niladri Vihar side.
Visitors of the safari drive can march along 25 kilometers of forest and spot wildlife. 2 battery-operated vehicles carry up to 8 persons at a time for Rs.1050 per hour or Rs.2100 for a group of 13. One can also book online tickets for a jungle safari in the Bharatpur Wildlife Sanctuary. Apart from the Bharatpur safari, jungle safaris are running in Deras and Dampara.
