The Patora Dam, part of the Upper Jonk Irrigation Project, is located 20 km from Nuapada Town. This medium-sized irrigation project was created for water conservation purposes. Tourists can enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets at the dam. During the winter, the Patora Reservoir draws visitors due to its stunning natural surroundings.
To the left of the dam, there is a lovely park situated on a hill where visitors can relax and appreciate the beauty of the area. People enjoy the serene environment while sitting on the soft grass in the park. A floral fountain is currently being constructed just below the dam, and the sight of water cascading within a circle of flowers is truly spectacular. The Patora Reservoir is encircled by hills and forests.
Jogeswar Mandir, Patora Nature Camp
